smooth sale and great car just a little mess up with mini paying off my old finance nearly two weeks later and they still haven’t paid my old finance off resulting in them taking another monthly payment which I cannot claim back until mini settle.

Had to wait quite a long time at drop off and pick up. When picked up they told me about 2 issues. Would have been more helpful if they'd phoned me and asked if I wanted them fixed like every other garage I've taken a car for service does.

Was impressed that a car from each range was available to check out. i'd had problems with Ford and Seat trying the car I wanted to test drive etc. This cost them a sale. Sales team were professional and made things really easy. Kept informed.

An issue was discovered at the end of the day when my Mini was in for an MOT. It was suggested that it may take a few days to fix. My car was returned to me 2 weeks from the day of its MOT. Updates were promising but then I was let down.

The staff at the service department greeted me with a smile, and were very courteous. The service and MOT were carried out with the minimum of fuss. The car was valeted and cleaned inside. Excellent.

I booked my car in well in advance as it had a few things to look at other than the mot. I rang a couple of weeks before to check that a particular part had been ordered and was assured it had. I arrived to discover they had got the wrong part.

I booked a "while you wait" MOT and was told it would take abour 1 hour. I was told the appointment would be confirmed by email. It was not. On arrival I was told it would actually be 1 1/2 hours. It actually took 2 1/2 hours.

I was left without a car for two full days, which was inconvenient, but they did allow me to go home in a taxi which was fully paid for by Halliwell-Jones. If I'd have been offered a courtesy car, I would have given five stars for the service.
